J-Onyx is a Croydon-born and London-based rapper, singer and songwriter who oozes creativity, personality, and mystique.
Her self-penned music touches on various moods. From big club-bangers like “Chop The Bummies”, to lyrical onslaughts like “Hood Stuff”, to introspective songs like her forthcoming single, “All I Ever Wanted”.
Arriving in the music industry in 2021 J-Onyx has already been enjoying support from industry heavyweights including DJ Target (BBC Radio 1Xtra), Charlie Sloth (Apple Music), Shortee Blitz (Kiss FM), DJ Semtex CapitalXtra, etc. She is also a BBC Introducing playlisted artist and has enjoyed write-ups in various reputed online publications.
J-Onyx is renowned for her confident and energetic live performances. She truly comes alive on the infront of audiences. She has graced all levels of stages – from local venues to massive events like the Titan Festival (part of the 51st State Festival). More recently she tore the roof-off at the to O2 Academy Islington, London and has a number of shows lining up for the rest of the year.
